­Tathra is an idyllic coastal village with a superb northerly aspect overlooking 3 kilometres of one of the safest beaches on the east coast. Surrounded by national parks the local area offers many opportunities for outdoor activities with excellent fishing and diving facilities, both golf and bowling clubs, a dynamic surf club and extensive bushwalking and mountain biking trails.
